The RIAA is suing a 12-year old girl living in housing project, a 71-year grandfather, and a few other hundred people for sharing music on the Internet. They've also been advertising a false amnesty.
They also like to call sharing music "pirating", as if it were somehow comparable to those notorious seafarers who raped, pillaged, and burned.
If you protest these actions, please sign this petition put together by the Electronic Frontier
Foundation. They will forward the petition on to Congress.
You can also take part in the boycott of the RIAA member companies, by buying only used CDs and/or listening to music published by less conventional publishers.
