What can I say? Several years ago, Dad picked up gourmet cooking as a hobby and now we're all spoiled!
The weather was mostly good, sunny overall with a few brief thunderstorms. Alisa and I did a great job of getting my sister and her boyfriend hooked on [amazon:B0006HCA82|San Juan].
San Juan is the best game ever.
I’ve been very impressed with San Juan’s replay value. By now, we’ve played it a few hundred times and still haven’t gotten tired of it.
The same author made a similar game called Race for the Galaxy, but I’ve only played it once and don’t have a feel for whether it’s better or worse than the excellent San Juan. The price for Race for the Galaxy is ridiculously high right now because the last printing completely sold out.
