A recent twist on this that I have noticed is that once you find and fix the bugs and check them into source control, get them tested, approved, and pushed to live - someone will then revert them for reasons that aren't clear to you, which then starts the process over again.
So not only do you have the annoying bug, you have a billion emails going about discussing protocol of who is most wrong, whether the bugfix is valid, and who does what fixes.
I always am amazed by how every time I think something like that is incredibly annoying - it always gets worse.
